Our Exeter Food Network workshop on April 22nd 2017 engaged participants in a series of earthy, discursive and hands-on activities to help build a more resilient food city into the future. The day included sessions where participants fed back on the draft Exeter Food Strategy.
This community workshop aimed to strengthen the Exeter Food Network community by offering a space for the discussion of future directions of the network and members’ challenges and potential solutions. It used a mix of open discussion, hands-on and exploratory workshops based in the welcoming and stimulating environment of West Town Farm. By exploring members’ challenges and resources, this workshop aimed to strengthen the development of a supportive network working to further a vibrant local food culture that is accessible to all.
Enjoy this blog that will include notes and images from the day, including a video
A report on the workshop and the work of Exeter Food will be published in due course
Feedback on the strategy is also being collected from those who were not able to attend
